It would but thats a personal preference to have firewall and antivirus, my firewall is in the router and i dont use antivirus, im just carefull

Yep same plugins matey. the only difference is the firewall and antivirus - Van's had a play around with the desktop and now I can access the forum from that one as well.

I'm guessing that this is to do with firewall setting this end - damn frustrating having to keep logging in.
